Wanjiku has over 10 years’ experience serving private and public sector organizations. She is experienced in conducting internal and external audits, performing organization capacity assessments, development of organization policies and procedures, preparing organization development plans, supporting organizations in implementing system improvement development plans, providing accounting services, review of financial systems and facilitating trainings.
She is a holder of a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi, a Certified Public Accountant, CPA (K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK). Her experience spans across various countries in Africa such as Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Somalia, Ghana, Mozambique, Malawi and South Sudan among others.
Kimata is a Professional Financial and Tax Consultant, with over 8 years’ experience in financial advisory, business advisory, accounting, audit and tax consultancy in corporate organizations, non-profits and government entities. She is a holder of a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, a Certified Public Accountant, CPA (K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK).
Some of her key achievements include formulation and implementation of strategic financial management policies, development of budget plans, financial forecasts, Tax planning, support in implementation of accounting systems; review and implementation of internal controls.
